Kim Kardashian may have to hand over millions of dollars to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kris Humphries, to be able to retain her 20.5-carat diamond ring after their divorce.
According to sources close to the couple, the 31-year-old TV celebrity loved the flashy ring so much that she included a clause in her pre-nuptial agreement, which allows her to buy the ring from the NBA star for the original price in case of a divorce, TMZ reported.
As far as the price of the massive engagement ring goes, the socialite never disclosed how much the basketball player plunked down, but according to multiple reports, it is worth an estimated 2 million US dollars (1.927 million dollars).
Merely after 72 days of her marriage to the 26-year-old professional basketball player, Kardashian announced last week that she was divorcing Humphries on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences.”
