Lady Gaga may attend RA.One premiere

Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is working towards convincing the international pop star to do a song for RA.One, has reportedly invited her to the film’s premiere.

SRK's production house Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted, “Breaking News: Lady Gaga may attend Ra.One premiere!”

“I have been chatting up with her (Lady Gaga) over a song that I want to do with her and once her manager had said ‘Lady Gaga wants to introduce her audience to you and she wants to be introduced to your audience’. So one understands she believes in pure, simple wonderful business,” Shah Rukh had said earlier at a book launch.

International pop singer Akon has recorded a song Chammak Challo, which is already a rage ever since it was leaked online. So whether Lady Gaga is recording a song for this film remains a mystery but she might attend Ra.One premiere.

I listen to Lady GaGa,"Shah Rukh Khan"

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has said that he is inspired by Lady GaGa.

Khan, who has been trying to convince the popstar to do a song for his film Ra.One, said that GaGa is keen to make a crossover into Bollywood.

According to IANS, Khan said: "I have been chatting with her over a song that I want to do with her. Her manager once said 'Lady GaGa wants to introduce her audience to you and she wants to be introduced to your audience'. So one can understand that she believes in pure, simple, wonderful business."

The 45-year-old actor was speaking at the launch of management guru Arindam Chaudhuri and his wife Rajita's new marketing book Thorns to Competition.

He mentioned GaGa during a discussion about reinvention, which he identified as an important marketing tool.

"I have learnt reinventing… So I don't listen to raag Bhairavi any more… I listen to Lady GaGa. My son and daughter have converted me from 'Saturday Night Fever' to Justin Bieber."

Akon has already recorded the song 'Chammak Challo' for the film, which is due for release in October 2011.

Lady GaGa used men's bathroom as alter ego Joe Calderone

Lady GaGa would not respond to her real name while dressed as her male alter ego Joe Calderone at the MTV Video Music Awards last weekend.

The singer stayed in character throughout the duration of the ceremony at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Sunday and also remained true to her role while rehearsing for the show.

VMAs executive producer Dave Sirulnick told MTV: "She showed up as Joe, rehearsed as Joe. If you said 'GaGa', she wouldn't respond.

"After rehearsals, she comes over, she says to me, 'It's nice to meet you', and I say to her, 'I know your friend GaGa', and she says, 'That GaGa, what a bitch!' She did not break character once.

"She walks in backstage and, in front of a whole bunch of people, went into the men's room."

Lady GaGa won two awards at the ceremony including 'Best Female Video' and 'Best Video With A Message'.  Source

Is Lady Gaga going straight?

IT was always going to be the ultimate gimmick for the eccentric Lady Gaga.
With every visceral taboo broken, from meat dress to climbing inside a womb on stage, the 25-year-old had nowhere to do. Except, of course, to the one area that no-one would ever expect, that of chic normality. And for the second day in LA, as she arrived at a recording studio, she did just that.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, donned an elegant long black dress that clung to her dainty frame in all the right places. With a beehive that evoked a blonde Audrey Heburn, the whole outfit was very Breakfast at Tiffany’s, down to the large diamanté earrings.

We’re so used to seeing Lady Gaga step out in something original and outrageous that we almost didn’t recognise her yesterday. But it seems like the new elegant New Yorker may be here to stay. –DM
