The Bajan star's team frantically tried to contact beauticians in Belfast in the early hours of Monday, eventually convincing one to perform the procedure at her hotel at 2am.
"Rihanna arrived at her hotel very late and the first thing she wanted was a bikini wax," a source told The Sun. "The video shoot was scheduled for the following morning so she didn't have much time.
"Her assistants got on the case quickly and called some beauticians after finding a directory on the web. It was relief all round when they finally managed to find someone."
Rihanna caused further chaos during the Northern Ireland shoot after an overzealous crowd had to be calmed by police.
On Monday, the 23-year-old was chastised by a Bangor farmer for going topless while filming on his land. Source
