Rihanna teases new album, climbs iTunes chart

LOS ANGELES: Rihanna on Thursday released track teasers online from her upcoming album "Talk That Talk," pushing the album up to no. 12 on the iTunes chart ahead of its November 21 release.

The snippets from all 11 songs on the album comes after the singer posted a picture on her official Facebook page last week, revealing the track listing. (Reuters)

Rihanna treats journalist to a saucy onstage lap dance

Rihanna stunned a London newspaper reporter when she was invited to join the pop singer onstage during a concert at the O2 Arena and was treated to a very public lap dance.

ES Magazine commissioning editor Lotte Jeffs found herself lying on a circular bed in the middle of the stage with Rihanna thrusting about on top of her wearing nothing but a black leather bikini.

“It was a night I will never forget. Global superstar Rihanna dragged me on stage and gave me a lap dance in front of 20,000 screaming fans,” the Daily Star quoted Jeffs as telling Evening Standard newspaper.

She became the envy of Rihanna fans the world over when the saucy superstar insisted she fondle her breasts for all to see.

“I wanted to put on a bit of a show… but I couldn’t possibly take liberties with Ri Ri. So I pretended to run my hand up and down her sweat-dripping, semi naked body… Rihanna, however, was up for it,” she said.

“She grabbed my hand and slammed it on to her left breast. That gave me all the permission I needed to, as Rihanna would say ‘Go hard’. I grabbed her waist and tossed back my head as she knelt over me, two fantastic breasts in my face. We started slowly spinning, there was a loud ‘kerthunk’ and I suddenly realised the bed had dropped down under the stage,” she added.

Rihanna 'warned for touching female performers at lapdance club'

Rihanna reportedly angered security at a London lapdancing club by "repeatedly touching" the female performers.

The 'S&M' singer hired out a private booth at Stringfellows on Wednesday and apparently became so excited by the show that she had to be calmed down by the venue's bouncers.

"Rihanna couldn't resist paying for a dance and loved watching the girls in action," a source told The Sun. "Bouncers weren't happy as she was repeatedly touching them, ignoring all warnings. At one point she thrust her head between the legs of one of the dancers."

Rihanna is said to have been joined by her former baseball player boyfriend Matt Kemp, whom she separated from in December.

The Bajan star is said to be "loved up" with model and amateur boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy after hand-picking him to star in the video for her latest single 'We Found Love'.

Rihanna was named as Esquire magazine's 'Sexiest Woman Alive' earlier this week.

Rihanna 'demands emergency bikini wax' before 'We Found Love' shoot

Rihanna reportedly demanded an emergency bikini wax prior to shooting the video for her latest single 'We Found Love' this week.

The Bajan star's team frantically tried to contact beauticians in Belfast in the early hours of Monday, eventually convincing one to perform the procedure at her hotel at 2am.

"Rihanna arrived at her hotel very late and the first thing she wanted was a bikini wax," a source told The Sun. "The video shoot was scheduled for the following morning so she didn't have much time.

"Her assistants got on the case quickly and called some beauticians after finding a directory on the web. It was relief all round when they finally managed to find someone."

Rihanna caused further chaos during the Northern Ireland shoot after an overzealous crowd had to be calmed by police.

Rihanna's Rockin' Night In Sao Paulo

Taking her high-energy act to South America, Rihanna performed a thrilling show in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Saturday night (September 17).

The Barbadian beauty took the stage at Arena Skol, as she tweeted prior to showtime, "SAO PAULO LET'S DO THISSSS!!! #LOUDtourBRAZIL"Treating concertgoers to a full range of hits including "Disturbia" and "Only Girl In the World," the 23-year-old graciously wrote upon her performance's conclusion, "SAO PAULO I love you! I will definitely be back!!!"

The concert comes just days after Rihanna announced plans to release a new studio album this fall, as she tweeted in response to a question about her next disc's due date, ""THIS FALL!!!!!"

Of the offering, producer Verse Simmonds told MTV, "From what I understand, she's closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved, and I'm really excited about them as well. They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts."

Rihanna spends over 3000 a day on booze!

Rihanna is said to have drunk her way through her relaxing no-expense-spared holiday to St Tropez, Cannes and Italy’s Portofino and Sardinia.

The 23-year-old singer splashed out 200,000 pounds to hire a yacht for herself and her pals, drinking the boat dry by spending almost 3000 pounds a day on Champagne and meals as well as tipping waiters around 100 euros a time.

“The crew ordered the maximum amount of Laurent-Perrier Champagne they thought a few girls could down in a week, but they drank it all in just over a day,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“By midday on Monday they had sunk 12 bottles."

“On their nights out they ordered Moet and Chandon Champagne, Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull, each bill going into thousands,” the source stated.

The Barbadian R and B recording artist is finally back after her relaxing holiday, and is expected at the MTV Music Video Awards in LA.

Rihanna named woman of the year

Singer Rihanna has been named woman of the year by Italian Vogue magazine.


Rihanna was honoured for her charity work, pop success and her ability to tackle adversity in personal life, including troubled relationships with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and drug addict father Ronald Fenty.


"Independent, energetic, the young Robyn Rihanna Fenty (only 23) is our woman of the year, and not just by virtue of numbers and figures but also, and foremost, for her kind and fighting spirit," contactmusic.com quoted a spokesperson from the magazine as saying.


"The same spirit that brought her from Barbados to the top of the music charts achieving a career which she has forged and mastered completely by herself (whose last move was to become the new ambassador for Armani)," it said.


"Rihanna is the undisputed best contender to the role of queen of pop. Her career has always been based on the cunning use of sexiness and provocation.


"She has managed to cultivate her career despite the many tragedies affecting her private life: from her father's addiction to crack ... to the violence caused to her in 2009 by her then-boyfriend, Chris," the spokesperson added.


Rihanna had first graced the cover of the fashion magazine in September 2009.
